It is here that Michael has two painful realizations: The horrific images in his troubled mind came from this hospital via the radio wire. Also, the original Michael is still alive, brain dead, on life support.



Fearing the loss of the connection to his old body, the connection to the closest thing he believes to be his soul, Michael refuses to let the doctor terminate his life support. However, without his consent, the entire experiment becomes illegal, leaving the doctor and Michael in a stalemate. The doctor has no choice but to keep him a prisoner until he signs a release form.
